Pastor Godwin Akpovie, PhD, Managing Director/CEO of the Delta Special Economic Zone, has prayed for more days of joy, peace, and celebration for the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, CON, as he marks his 67th birth anniversary.
In his congratulatory message to Dr. Okowa on the glorious occasion, Akpovie said he has every reason to join well-wishers across Delta State and Nigeria to celebrate the former governor in appreciation of his life of service.
He noted that the legacy and contributions of the celebrant to the development of Delta State and the nation at large are worthy of appreciation and commendation.
“Your visionary approach, rooted in compassion and integrity, has not only strengthened our State but has also set a benchmark for governance in Nigeria. As a statesman, your contributions to national development, health, education, and infrastructure have been exemplary, earning you respect and admiration far beyond our State borders,” he said.
The Chief Executive Officer recalled with pride and admiration that Okowa’s tenure as Governor of Delta State between 2015 and 2023 marked a great era when the State witnessed remarkable progress in economic and social infrastructure, especially with the establishment of the Delta Special Economic Zone.
