ASABA, Delta State — The 24 United NGOs Nigeria, in collaboration with the Success Family Solid Foundation, Supreme Foundation, and Entertainment International Initiative, has announced plans to empower approximately 1,000 beneficiaries with vocational equipment, working tools and financial assistance at a grand rally scheduled to hold in Asaba, Delta State, on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.

The rally, scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at the Asaba Township Stadium, is themed “Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria” and will also feature the coalition’s endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori.

According to the organisers, the empowerment initiative will provide beneficiaries with items including sewing machines, hair dryers, welding machines, hair clippers and cash assistance, among other support packages intended to help recipients establish or expand small businesses and improve their livelihoods.

The programme is expected to provide practical support to individuals seeking economic opportunities, particularly artisans, aspiring entrepreneurs and people whose livelihoods depend on vocational skills and small-scale enterprises.

By distributing equipment and financial assistance, the organisers aim to promote self-reliance, encourage entrepreneurship and support income-generating activities among the beneficiaries. The initiative also underscores the potential role of non-governmental organisations and community-based groups in complementing broader efforts to tackle unemployment, poverty and economic hardship.

Beyond the empowerment programme, the rally will serve as a platform for the participating organisations to express their support for the policies and programmes of President Tinubu’s administration and Governor Oborevwori’s government.

The event’s theme reflects the organisers’ stated position that the country’s ongoing reforms and policy direction deserve public support. The planned endorsement is also intended to demonstrate the coalition’s confidence in the leadership of the two administrations.

Barr. Seyi Tinubu is identified as the founder of the initiative, while President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori are featured prominently on the event publicity materials.

The announcement identifies Engr. Mike Ike Sunshine as the Delta State Coordinator of 24 United NGOs Nigeria, while Dr. Amb. Joyce Hemmi Andrew is listed as the North-Central Zonal Coordinator and National Director. Hon. Ahmed Bala is identified as Director General of Relax.

The planned rally comes amid continuing national conversations about economic reforms, the cost of living, employment, poverty reduction and the need to expand opportunities for Nigerians to earn sustainable livelihoods.

For the beneficiaries, the proposed distribution of vocational equipment and cash assistance could offer a practical means of strengthening existing businesses or taking the first steps towards self-employment. Sewing machines, welding machines, dryers and clippers, for instance, can help recipients provide services, attract customers and generate income, provided they have the necessary skills and access to markets.

The organisers have invited members of the public, supporters and participating organisations to attend the rally at the Asaba Township Stadium.

The rally is expected to bring together members of the participating organisations, supporters of the two administrations and prospective beneficiaries for a programme combining political mobilisation with economic empowerment.

Fresh Facts Magazine will continue to follow developments surrounding the event and report further details as they become available.
