Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Delta Special Economic Zone (DSEZ), Pastor Godwin Akpovie, has extended warm felicitations to the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, CON, on the occasion of his 66th birthday.
In a heartfelt congratulatory message, Akpovie praised Dr. Okowa for his enduring legacy of leadership and service, noting that his contributions to the growth and development of Delta State and Nigeria remain worthy of commendation.
“Your visionary leadership, guided by compassion and integrity, has not only advanced Delta State but also established a benchmark for good governance across the nation,” Akpovie stated. “Your efforts in areas such as health, education, infrastructure, and economic development have earned you widespread respect and admiration.”
He particularly recalled the significant strides recorded during Okowa’s administration between 2015 and 2023, a period he described as an era of remarkable progress, especially in the realm of economic and social infrastructure. He lauded the former governor for laying the groundwork for initiatives such as the Delta Special Economic Zone, which continues to contribute meaningfully to the state’s economic transformation.
