Asaba – The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Delta Special Economic Zone, Pastor Godwin Akpovie, has joined well-wishers across Nigeria to celebrate the 73rd birthday of Senator Ighoyota Amori, Chief Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, describing him as “a politician of great ideas and repute.”
In a goodwill message, Akpovie praised the man fondly known in Delta political circles as Odidimadi for his decades of dedicated public service, remarkable bridge-building efforts, and unwavering passion for the advancement of Delta Central Senatorial District.
“Senator Amori is a core politician and patriotic son of Urhoboland whose commitment to the upliftment of his people remains unparalleled,” Akpovie stated.
He highlighted the celebrant’s notable contributions to Delta State’s development, recalling his impactful roles as Commissioner for Education; Commissioner for Water Resources; Senior Political Adviser; Senator; National Chairman of the Delta Central 2023 Lobby Group; and currently, Chief Adviser to the Governor.
Akpovie described Senator Amori as a seasoned politician and detribalised leader who has consistently pursued the positive transformation of the state with diligence and focus.
