The Chairman of the Governing Council of Anointed University Worldwide (ANUSITY), Brigadier General Dr. Biodun Bashir Adewinmbi (Rtd.), has reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, leadership development, character building and human capacity development.
Adewinmbi gave the assurance while reflecting on the university’s Award Ceremony and Investiture held on Saturday, October 31, 2026, describing the occasion as another significant milestone in the institution’s growth and development.
He said the ceremony provided an opportunity to celebrate excellence, recognise outstanding contributions and reinforce the university’s vision of building an institution that promotes knowledge, nurtures talents and prepares individuals for meaningful contributions to society.
According to him, ANUSITY remains committed to providing an enabling educational environment where students can discover their potential, develop their abilities and acquire the knowledge and skills required to succeed in an increasingly competitive and evolving world.
The Governing Council Chairman stressed that university education should not be limited to the acquisition of academic certificates but must also equip graduates with critical thinking abilities, discipline, confidence, leadership qualities and the capacity to contribute positively to national and global development.
He therefore called on parents, guardians and prospective students to consider ANUSITY as a preferred destination for higher education, noting that the institution’s vision goes beyond academic instruction to encompass character formation, leadership training and the overall development of individuals.
Adewinmbi further reiterated his commitment, as Chairman of the Governing Council, to supporting the university’s institutional growth, academic aspirations and overall development.
